Winton Recreation Ground, Bournemouth BH9 1BX
WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Founded in 1929, and this year celebrating 80 years of service to the local community, solicitors Aldridge Brownlee are throwing a party – and everyone in the area is invited!
It’s a free day out for all members of the family and the community to come and enjoy.
The Fayre will have a 1920s & 1930’s theme, and will feature shows and displays of the history of Bournemouth and the surrounding area over the past 80 years, music and dances from the 1920s and historic vehicles from the same era.
There will be prize competitions throughout the day, including:
Facts about 1929 quiz
Best period costume
Most interesting item from 1929
Spot the Partner
Sprightliest over-80
Oldest visitor
.. and many more as we think them up!
Add to this all the fun of the Fayre – entertainers, face painters, Punch and Judy, – and you have the perfect summer day out. And entrance is COMPLETELY FREE.
Visitors can enjoy traditional Dorset catering and refreshments offering locally sourced food, and a picnic area if they prefer to bring their own.
On this site we aim to keep you up to date with all the attractions that are being lined up and any additions to the entertainments.
