Promotion for the Vintage Fayre steps up a gear

An alert has gone out to local businesses and traders to remind them they have just 7 days left to register their attendance at the Bournemouth Vintage Fayre. The event, which will raise funds for Julia’s House and Pramacare, aims to entertain and inform the public about 1920’s Bournemouth & Britain, to promote local businesses in this time of economic turmoil, whilst also providing a good quality FREE day out for the whole family. Celebrating the local community and traditional family values, the Vintage Fayre is strictly not for profit, and is a community event which celebrates the history of Bournemouth and its residents, past and present.
This week sees the start of an intensive promotional and advertising awareness campaign to support the Vintage Fayre, which includes:
- Doorstep mailing to 4500 residents in the Winton area
- Collaborative mailer to 6800 clients
- An ‘Advan’ promotion on the day of the Vintage Fayre between 9am and 5pm. Look out for the van as it makes it way through the Winton, Charminster and Bournemouth areas, directing people to the event
- Promotional day in Bournemouth Square on Thursday 3rd September between 11am and 3pm. Our promotional staff (in 1920s costume) will be handing out leaflets alongside a group of beautiful vintage cars
- Promotional day at Castlepoint Shopping Centre on Friday 4th September from 10am - 6pm
- Posters and promotional flyers distributed to retail outlets in Winton and surrounding Bournemouth areas
- Information available in every Tourist Information Centre in Dorset
- Advertising campaign with Heart FM, Bournemouth Daily Echo, Society Magazine and Wessex Muse Magazine
Traders interested in taking up the offer of a free pitch at the Vintage Fayre should contact Susie Carver or Corli Davison on 01202 888192.
